“My Favourite Shot” Series

Every project has that one shot. The one that challenged the craft, pushed the tools or just felt right. In this series, we asked Weta FX crew dive into their favourite shot from a recent project to tie the pixels to the people that make them.

The content series was conceived as an adult show-and-tell, allowing the company’s talented crew a moment to ‘claim their work’ while underlining the human artistry that went into a small moment in a really amazing film.

“Weta FX On…” Series

Visual Effects marketing content was largely just reliant on shot breakdowns: a slow reveal, or ‘wipe’ of all the various steps and layers that go into creating a shot. This series was conceived as a way to showcase the story behind the VFX, from the people that crafted it. The challenge, the collaboration and the creativity that helped shape some of the most successful shows and films of the last few years. It also allowed the company’s crew to highlight how they are fans of the projects they work on, too!

Opportunistic Content

When an opportunity arises, bring a camera! From time to time, there were unique chances to make content that supported a project, or told an important story for the company brand, but didn’t fit into typical content series.
